ELITE STRINGS YOUTH ORCHESTRA
ELITE STRINGS YOUTH ORCHESTRA
The Elite Strings Youth Orchestra (ESYO) was founded by Adriana Linares, as a venue to fulfill her desire to provide exceptional mentoring and performance opportunities to students in her private lessons program, as well as to talented young musicians she met through the Dali Ensemble Chamber Music Camp, conducted at the Community Conservatory, and through her involvement with the North Penn Youth Orchestra and the Bridle Path/Montgomery Select String Ensemble programs.
Mission
The ESYO program offers a Holistic String Performance Plan tailored to enhance the development of young musicians. Along with private lessons, the orchestral training is committed to provide the instruction and experience necessary to achieve the highest level of performance. In addition, it is the objective of the ESYO staff to help young musicians grow as integral members of an ensemble, while developing a unique perspective and appreciation of a wide variety of orchestral music.
Performance Opportunities
The orchestras will perform winter, spring and summer concerts (at the Dali Ensemble Camp). Additional performances will be scheduled, such as fundraisers, community outreach events, retirement homes, park events and other concert series. A schedule of performances will be provided. Future plans include attending conferences, competitions and touring abroad.
